Recorder Workshop - 5/19/12

Go to Downloads and click Recorder for the workshop notes to accompany the Music Box Video "Recorder Possibilities". Follow these notes as you watch the workshop. There’s so much learning from the games we play! The recorder is a beautiful historical instrument. But it does not have to be taught sitting in front of a book! Teach recorder in a fun game like atmosphere!

Orff instruments playing Purcell Canon - Downloads/Songs - 5/9/12

See this beautiful piece for Orff instruments. Great for mallet technique and challenging parts for those who are ready for it with easier parts for new students too. Depending on your students experience, this may work for 3rd grade and older. This is also a good piece for a procession, perhaps for a graduation or awards event or for other classes to enter for a concert. Now in Downloads/Songs.
